2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. The web servers are operated for united-domains by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, and are located in Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information your browser transmits: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, browser type and version, operating system and device type.
We process this data to deliver the website securely and to detect and fix errors. The log files are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed for these purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
This website does not use cookies, tracking or web analytics. Your browser only keeps copies of the website's files (its cache) so that pages load faster; this is technically necessary and contains no personal data.
3. Contact form and email
This website uses TLS encryption (recognizable by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar), so the data you send us through the contact form cannot be read by third parties during transmission.
If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, your email address and the content of your message to answer your inquiry. Providing this data is voluntary, but we cannot answer your inquiry without it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering inquiries addressed to us.
Messages from the contact form are received by the server of our hosting provider (see section 2) and sent on from there by email to our inbox; the content of your message is not stored on the server. To protect the form against misuse, the server checks each message automatically for typical signs of spam and limits the number of messages per sender. The legal basis for these protective measures is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form against spam and misuse.
Our email system, which sends the contact-form messages and receives them together with emails you send us directly, is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365), on the basis of a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The data is stored in data centers in the European Union. In individual cases, for example for support or security purposes, access by Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). We delete your data once your inquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require us to keep it longer.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20).
Right to object: Where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. An email to info@connectase.com is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority in the federal state where we are based: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.
